2026 Grammy Nominees

todayNovember 10, 2025

Background

The list of the 2026 Grammy Nominees was officially released and there are so many firsts that came with it! We have the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack bagging 5 Nominations and KATSEYE with 2 Nominations but also being the first group created under the K-Pop methodology to be nominated for Best New Artist. THEN!!!!! Kendrick Lamar received 9 Nominations, followed by Lady Gaga, Jack Antonoff, and Cirkut, who each have 7 Nominations and Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, Leon Thomas, and mixing engineer Serban Ghenea with 6 Nominations each.

And lastly, one I’m super excited for. We FINALLY have a nomination for Billie Eilish’s album Hit Me Hard And Soft that could walk away with a Grammy, after the 2025 awards didn’t go so great for such a phenomenal album. Wildflower is nominated for Record of the Year and Song of the Year. And I’m keeping my fingers crossed she walks away with one of them.

I’m also very excited to see what happens for the Best New Artist category because there is such good competition. I would say I am probably leaning more towards Olivia Dean, KATSEYE or sombr for that one. Their songs have just been amazing this year, ESPECIALLY Olivia Dean’s “The Art of Loving” album. That was pure GOLD.
