Usakos teenager (18) arrested for the murder of six family members, including a 90-year-old

Erongo police have arrested an 18-year-old in connection with the death of six family members in Usakos on Saturday, March 5, 2025.
A police report says the teenager used an axe to murder the six before setting the house in the Hakhaseb location on fire.
The deceased are Elisabeth Naruses (90), Fenny Naruses, an 18 Grade 11 learner at Usakos Junior Secondary School, Ibra Naruses (6), Raunisha Boer (6), Rachel Boer (3), and Emi Naruses (3).
The police say the teenager also sustained injuries to his feet and was taken to Usakos State Hospital for treatment.
He faces counts of murder and defeating the course of justice.
The police have found the axe at the scene, which they suspect was used in committing the murders.
