Tourist gets RIPPED off!!!

Background

Ever been a tourist in a country and got taken for a ride?

Swindled? Bamboozled? Cheated?

Basically… ripped off?

If so, I sincerely hope you didn’t taken THIS hard!

(Apparently if you google ‘Tourist’ you get this…)

A tourist in India, more money than braincells decided to splurge a little bit! Jewelry! Why not!? Some locally made shiny jewelry to take back home… Coz now you have a story of buying it in this far away exotic country!!!

And oh boy… does she have a story!

She bought some nice jewelry for N$ 11 000 000!

The person selling it to her convinced her “Bruh, this… this is the real deal! You don’t need to ask anyone else! Trust me!!!”

So of course, why wouldn’t she trust him!!!

Money exchanged hands, and eventually she decided to get the jewelry appraised…

Remember… she spent $ 700 000… Guess how much it was worth…

$4.00

(She should’ve just done this instead)

Firstly, who has 700K to just blow on “tourist stuff?”

Secondly, some people in the world clearly have more money in the bank, than brain cells in their heads…

Apparently the cops have gotten involved but to be honest, if I was a cop on this case, I kind of feel like I’d let it go, coz honestly, some people need to learn!
