If there’s one thing I think we all want to some extend – it’s success.
Now to be fair, success might mean different things to different people but at the end of the day we all crave it to a certain degree. Achieving success however, is something that’s rather complicated because there’s no easy step-by step guide that you can follow. What works for one person might not work for another but now thanks to research, we know about at least one factor that definitely seems to play a role:
Your success depends on who you decide to marry.
According to a study done, people who have more supportive partners not only have a better relationship and experience more personal growth but they are also more likely to succeed.
Now while they didn’t go into too much detail about why this is the case, I don’t think it needs much of an explanation.
One of my favourite sayings explain it best I think:
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.”
So if you’re looking for that special someone to spend the rest of your life with, make sure that they tick at the very least that one box – they’re supportive.
If not, then maybe it’s time to rethink your relationship. Besides who wants to spend the rest of their life with someone who never supports them? I don’t know about you but that sounds like a seriously bad time…
