The ‘Mommy Needs Some Alone Time’ Charcuterie Board

School holidays are great… if you’re a kid! But after a few days, this mommy definitely needed a break. Enter… Hartlief

I call this the ‘Mommy Needs Alone Time’ Charcuterie board.

The short salami range is one of my utmost favourites, so I build this board using German Style Salami, and Dauerwurst.

Hartlief’s traditional German style salami is created using the same methods which have been used for many years. Mild in flavour and delicately smoked, German Salami is flavourful with hints of spices.

Dauerwurst is made from premium quality meat and is matured to give it a distinctive aroma. Spicy and flavourful, it packs a strong punch.

I paired it with a few of my favourites; cashew nuts, mozzarella and cheddar cheese, as well as baby plum tomatoes and lightly salted crackers, and of course, a dry red wine, because… mommy needed a break!

Truth be told though, The German Salami and the Dauerwurst will go really well with olives, a soft cheese, or perhaps some pimento.
