One of the streaming services recommended Ocean’s 11 to me the other day. As far as movies go, its OK…
But I do like the idea of committing a well thought out, well planned, and well executed heist like that! (But I totally would NEVER commit a crime 😅)
Here’s the thing though… not all criminals skilled enough to execute a huge heist that involves a TON of planning!!! In fact, some criminals are just outright DUMB!!!
How dumb you ask!?
Well… let’s take a look!
Here are 5 quick stories of the DUMBEST criminals in recent times!
- A man in Florida had dreams of opening an underwater restaurant… of course he did! But he needed money to do so! So he tried cashing a cheque at a bank. The cheque was made out for a large sum of money! HOW large? He would’ve become one of the richest people in the world! A cool US$ 368 000 000 000!
- A man in New York was on the run from cops when he decided to duck down behind a building to hide from them… Him ducking behind the building, actually made things easier for the cops! Why? The building was a prison, and guards inside noticed the weird behaviour… boom! Grabbed by a guard!
- A drunk man broke into a home… must’ve gotten bored coz he ended up passing out in a bed. The owners found him and called the cops!
- A man and his son went to a pet store to rob the place!!! Mission accomplished! But they still got caught! Turns out, the father grabbed the goods and ran for it… but left his son in the shop! Talk about leverage!
- A man in Scotland decided to rob a liquor store! He got caught! Why? While getting the money from the till, he started flirting with the cashier, and even left her his number! One call from the cops, and they got him!
Rather be honest, and don’t commit to a life of crime. Because sometimes, the prison sentence won’t be as bad as the humiliation that comes with some of these crimes!
