Taylor Swift is back in the news!

I know, I know… cue the collective sigh…

But calm down and stop lying to yourself, you know you love her!!!

A cybercrime crew got been busted after it was found that they stole tickets from Tay Sway’s “Era’s” tour, and resold them for a MASSIVE amount of money!!!

Details are a little vague but from what I can gather, the crew made up of Tyrone Rose and Shamara Simmons hacked Ticketmaster, crashed the site, and managed to make away via a manner of redirecting tickets to her shows to another site! From there, tickets were downloaded by them and resold on Stubhub at a CRAZY markup!

They ended up selling the tickets for over N$ 11 500 000!

Soooooo… 4 tickets were stolen!?

I’m kidding!!! It’s around 900 tickets which still puts them at an average of over N$ 12 700 a ticket!

Swifties! Are you all lotto winners, or have sugar daddies, or sell your parents prescription medicine? How the hell are you affording these tickets?

The crimes against Tyrone and Shamara are pretty serious:

  • Grand Larceny
  • Computer Tampering
  • Conspiracy over their alleged involvement in the year-long cybercrime scheme

If convicted, they could face up to 15 years behind bars.

Screw the 15 year prison sentence… here’s a better one:

Anyone who has had to buy tickets online knows the ABSOLUTE night mare it is!

Make Tyrone and Shamara try and buy tickets on Ticketmaster to the next Taylor Swift tour. As soon as they actually buy a ticket, their sentence will be over.

Trust me… they’re gonna be there for longer than 15 years!

The “Era’s” Tour ended up grossing over US$ 2 Billion (N$ 36 Billion)! So even with the theft, I can imagine Taylor being like:
