Police recover cannabis worth N$500,000 at Ariamsvlei

A farm worker discovered cannabis worth over N$500,000 at Farm Uitkoms in Ariamsvlei on Friday.

According to the Namibian police report, the farm worker who was herding sheep discovered a bag hidden in a bush.

They later called the police, and upon inspection, they discovered five parcels of cannabis with a total weight of 10.605 kg valued at N$530 250.

The police report said it is further suspected that the drugs were possibly hidden by drug dealers.

No arrests were made, and police investigations in this matter continue.
