Pole Vaulter’s pole cause upset…

Did you hear about the “Pole-on-pole clash” at the Olympics? 

What sounds like the Polish teams having a physical go at each other, instead involves ONLY one person.

Frenchman Anthony Ammirati.

He’s a pole-vaulter. He’s very good! After all, he qualified for the Olympics!

Unfortunately he did not achieve a podium finish in the 2024 Games.  

Anthony did his vault, and it was all looking great, when unfortunately, what some are calling a BIG blunder, ruined his chances at a medal!

See… he cleared the pole when, a part of his anatomy (here’s a hint: guys have it… girls don’t) struck the pole, causing it to fall to the ground.

One would think with inventions like duct tape, he could’ve strapped it down a bit more but soon after clearing the pole… 

Don’t bother imagining what it looked like, coz here it is!!!

Little Anthony caught the pole and cost him the victory! 

The world seems divided on the event itself all… because:

1. Shame, the guy was aiming for a medal at the Olympics. ESPECIALLY since its happening in his own country.
2. Dude… well done, if you know what we mean!

Regardless, the internet has rallied behind Anthony as his social following has grown by thousands since the incident!

My favourite comment in the whole incident?

It has to be this one: “Sending love and light to this man’s dms!”
