NamPost rolls out nationwide social cash grant payments

NamPost has announced that payments under the National Social Cash Grant Programme will start nationwide on 13 October 2025, benefiting thousands of Namibians across the country.

According to NamPost spokesperson Gladwin Groenwaldt, the in-branch rollout will take place in phases:

• Old-Age Grants: 13–15 October

• Child and Disability Grants: 16–18 October

• Conditional Basic Income Grants: 20–21 October

Payments will be made at Post Offices nationwide and through mobile payment teams, operating daily from 08h30 to 16h00.

Groenwaldt urged beneficiaries to adhere to the scheduled dates and locations to ensure smooth and timely service delivery. He added that NamPost remains committed to ensuring safe, efficient, and accessible payment methods across all regions.

The National Social Cash Grant Programme forms part of the government’s broader social protection initiative aimed at reducing poverty and supporting vulnerable households.
