Acoustic Element - Tours, Music and More Lunch w/ Yanika
Following his Grammy Award-winning 1990s rock icon status and his last album “Raise Vibration” in 2018, Lenny Kravitz has unveiled plans for a new album titled “Blue Electric Light.”
This marks Kravitz’s first double album, his first release in over five years, and his 12th full-length LP. Notably, Kravitz took on most of the instrumentation himself, with longtime guitarist Craig Ross also contributing. The album was crafted and recorded in Kravitz’s studio in the Bahamas.
“Blue Electric Light” has already introduced its lead single, “TK421,” which holds a subtle nod to Star Wars lore. The title references TK-421, a Death Star Stormtrooper known for guarding the Millennium Falcon. In the saga, TK-421 meets his fate at the hands of Han Solo, who uses his armor as a disguise while rescuing Princess Leia.
Who would have thought a Star Wars reference from Lenny Kravitz?
