It’s Official! Men With Bears Make Better Partners…

…well not really but women seem to think they do.

Let me explain!

A study done found that women perceive men with beards to be better long-term partners.

Whether they actually do, now that is a different story, but that’s beside the point.

The fact of the matter is, it turns out that women prefer to date men with beards because they believe that they would make a better partner in the long run.

Sadly the study didn’t exactly explain why this is the case and simply stated that a beard gives men a more balanced look. In other words, it softens a very masculine face while also toughening up a baby face.

However, I’ve got my own theory.

When you think of a player-type guy – you know the type of guy who will break your heart and run over it with a truck – you think of a clean-shaven Ken looking dude; but when you think of a father-type figure, you imagine a man with a beard.

So in my opinion it comes down to stereotypes, but what do I know?

Either way, there is something that can be taken from this study – stop shaving and grow a beard!

Unless you’re already married and settled down.

In that case, do whatever you want – unless you want a mullet…never do a mullet.
