The Ministries of International Relations and Trade, together with Mines and Energy, hosted a business engagement in Omuthiya to promote Namibia’s integration into the African Continental Free Trade Area. The meeting aimed to identify export opportunities, address business challenges, and align policies to boost Namibia’s participation in continental trade. Trade Minister Selma Ashipala-Musavyi urged local producers to seize untapped opportunities and meet the required standards to access wider markets. Oshikoto Governor Sacky Kathindi said the initiative will help forge partnerships that drive regional integration and job creation.
