Four men arrested for goat theft in Kavango We

Four men were arrested on Wednesday for allegedly stealing a goat at Mbore village in Kavango West Region.

According to Head of Community Policing, Chief Inspector Raimbert Muronga, the suspects stole the goat from a kraal, slaughtered it without the owner’s consent and sold it at a local shebeen.

The goat , valued at N$2 500 belonged to a 55-year-old resident of Mbore village.

“The recovered items include the head, skin, intestines, and ribs, “said Muronga.

The suspects are expected to appear in the Kahenge Periodical Court on Friday.

Police investigations are ongoing.
