Fortnite has already proven it’s the ultimate crossroads of pop music and gaming. But now, with the launch of its latest season, Fortnite is taking it up a notch, inviting hip-hop heavyweights to headline the action.
Starting November 2, Fortnite Battle Royale’s Chapter 2 Remix season is all about hip-hop, featuring legends like Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD. Players can step into these stars’ worlds through special themed locations and grab exclusive in-game outfits inspired by each artist. Each week in November, a new hip-hop icon will take center stage with custom looks, moves, and gameplay twists.
The season kicked off in style as Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice electrified Times Square with a surprise performance. Ice Spice, clad in her signature ginger locks and bold pink outfit, hyped the crowd with her hits “In Ha Mood” and “Princess Diana.” Snoop, in true West Coast style, rocked a leather jacket and delivered a fire mashup of “Drop It Like It’s Hot” and “The Next Episode.” To top it off, they dropped an exclusive trailer for Chapter 2 Remix, giving fans a sneak peek at the worlds each artist will rule in Fortnite.
Snoop Dogg, who’s gearing up for his Dr. Dre-produced Missionary LP release in December, will lead the first week of the season, complete with his own mythic weapon and areas on the Fortnite map. “Playing Fortnite with my son Cordell is one of our things, so I jumped on this chance to bring my music and style into the game,” Snoop said. “Now, anyone can be Snoop in Fortnite.”
The season will continue with Eminem, Ice Spice, and finally, Juice WRLD, whose “Lucid Dreams” world will open on November 21. And in a touching tribute, Fortnite will close the season on November 30 with Remix: The Finale, celebrating Juice WRLD’s legacy and his love for Fortnite. Players who log in on November 30 and December 1 will score the exclusive Slayer Juice WRLD Outfit, honoring the late rapper’s spirit. Juice’s posthumous album, The Party Never Ends, drops November 22, making this tribute all the more special.
Meanwhile, sneakerheads will find something to love in Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Remix season, too. Kicks, a new line of in-game sneakers, launches November 12, featuring collabs with Nike and Jordan along with Fortnite originals, bringing sneaker culture straight to the Fortnite universe.
With all-new performances, hip-hop takeovers, and fresh kicks, Fortnite’s latest season is primed to keep players dancing, battling, and vibing all November long, perfect for New Music November on Namibia’s Number 1.
