In a report by One Africa TV NewsOnOne’s Envaalde Matheus and Willem Snyman, citizens bid farewell to founding president, Dr. Sam Nujoma, in a final memorial service ahead of his burial at Heroes’ Acre today. Thousands of mourners, along with dignitaries from across Africa, gathered at Windhoek’s Independence Stadium to honour his legacy late yesterday. Nujoma, who served as the first president from 1990 to 2005, is remembered for his role in the country’s liberation and development. The nation now prepares for his final resting ceremony.
