Despite the state of the world, there is still a lot of love going around! Highschool sweethearts that have been together for decades! Couple’s that have JUST fallen in love! Love is (STILL) in the air!

And on the topic of love, stick with me, let’s discuss philosophers… (stick with me!)
Specifically, Fyodor Dostoevsky was one of the greatest writers and thinkers in history.
This guy explored the deepest corners of the human mind:
Dostoevsky once made an observation once: “Two intelligent people cannot fall in love; true love needs one idiot!”
Look at the love of your life… are they an idiot? If not, then based on Dostoevsky, I have some bad news for you…

But before WW3 breaks out in your home, lets dig into that quote a bit more!
The famous quote is not suggesting you lock up the sharp knives, and baby proof your home incase the love of your life has an accident… instead, it suggests that true love requires a degree of emotional vulnerability or foolishness, rather than pure logic.
The sentiment suggests that two overly analytical people may overthink and analyze emotions, while one “idiot” (meaning someone who is emotionally brave or unpretentious) is necessary to bridge that gap.
With that knowledge, who would you NOW say, is the “idiot” in the relationship!?
That said, if you see your liefie eating crayons, that has nothing to do with the quote… that is a whole other problem!
