Ethiopia has ordered six Sudanese consulate officials to leave the country within 48 hours, following a deterioration in diplomatic relations between the two neighbours. The move, Reuters reports, follows accusations by Sudan that Ethiopia allowed the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) to use its territory to launch drone attacks on civilian infrastructure in Sudan. The Sudanese government has accused Ethiopia of becoming involved in the conflict by providing the RSF with access to its territory. Ethiopia has denied supporting the paramilitary group. The diplomatic dispute comes as Sudan continues to battle a devastating civil war between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the RSF, which has displaced millions of people and caused widespread destruction.
