National Youth Orchestra Festival 2025 Lunch w/ Yanika
Ed Sheeran has a brand new album on the way! We’ve heard some of the songs from the album, “Azizam” and “Old Phone”, and now recently released, “Sapphire”. The album, “Play”, is described as a return to his big pop sound, and less like his low-key folk sound of the previous two albums. He also mentioned that the album was inspired by global sounds, like from India and Persia, that we see in both Azizam and the brand new release, Sapphire. Sapphire has a little Punjabi vibe with Arijit Singh. (There’s a more Punjabi version coming soon where we hear more of Arijit) A beautiful music video showcasing India, which he filmed while on tour there earlier this year.
The album will be released September 12th, 2025 and we are excited to see what else he came up with for this masterpiece.
