BTS Member Suga Breaks Silence Over Drink-Driving Incident

So we initially got news that Suga from BTS got booked by South Korean police for riding an e-scooter while under the influence on 6th of August 2024. Since then, more and more details have come out but here is the gist of the story.

Suga rode his scooter home from a night out for 500 m before a police officer saw him fall off the vehicle outside his home. He thought the journey was a short distance and he was unaware that citizens cannot operate an electric scooter while drunk.

So initially, media outlets released his breathalyzer results, which have since been said to not be confirmed. Then, the CCTV footage had been released initially but never fully showed the moment the police officers saw him. It was then confirmed by JTBC Newsroom (a big news station in South Korea) that the initial footage they released was not of Suga, because he was driving on the side walk, and that footage showed someone on the roads. So, I finally saw the video of when he fell in front of his home, and when I tell you this scooter hooked somewhere. Like it was tripped by the pavement I swear, because he was nowhere near fast enough to have caused issues.

Now yes, he was not sober, and he was driving an electronic vehicle (which was basically like an E-bike, but electronic nonetheless and considered as a vehicle under South Korean Law) so I understand, and it is warranted for him to be breathalyzed after falling. But honestly, I just find the footage of it so funny. It is a typical Suga happenstance. Like the little Oupa he is.
