Companies Face Review Over Understudy Shortfalls

Three companies appeared before the Employment Equity Commission review panel earlier this week for not appointing Namibian understudies for foreign employees. Ludorf Iyambo reports that SASSCAL, the NTA, and Letshego Bank are also accused of failing to seek exemptions from the labour ministry to justify employing foreign nationals without local understudies.
