Inflation Drops to 3.2% in August

Simonis Storm office, Windhoek The annual inflation eased to 3.2% in August, compared to 4.4% in the same month last year and 3.5% in July. The August figure is the lowest recorded so far in 2025. Kavango East unemployment reaches 52%

Statistics (Photo: Cirrus Capital) The unemployment rate in Kavango East has increased to 52% in 2023, up from 48% in 2011, according to data released by the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA). According to the Namibia Press Agency, youth unemployment in the region remains high at 60.4%.
