Most Dangerous Cities in the World

Do you feel safe in Windhoek? 

An updated list of the most dangerous cities in the world has been released and while Windhoek isn’t in the Top 10, let’s just say we’re not in the greatest position out of the 400 cities listed!

That said, my goodness, looking at our neighbours across the Orange, its NOT just their Rugby that is doing well in the world! 

In fact… in the Top 10 most 10 most unsafe cities in the world South Africa features 5 times!!!

1. Pietermaritzburg – South Africa 🇿🇦
2. Pretoria – South Africa 🇿🇦
3. Caracas – Venezuela 🇻🇪
4. Port Moresby – Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬
5. Johannesburg – South Africa 🇿🇦
6. Durban – South Africa 🇿🇦
7. San Pedro Sula – Honduras 🇭🇳
8. Port Elizabeth – South Africa 🇿🇦
9. Memphis – United States 🇺🇸
10. Salvador – Brazil 🇧🇷

South Africa features again at 16 with Cape Town! 

But what about us in Namibia, do we feature on the list!? We sure do!  

Windhoek comes in at 30th place! We can say “Yay! At least it’s not in the Top 10,” but considering the list is out of 400 cities in the world, yeesh… that’s quite high!
