National Assembly Speaker Saara Kuungongelwa-Amadhila met with Finnish Member of Parliament Ville Valkonen, chair of the Namibia–Finland Parliamentary Friendship Group, to discuss ways to deepen cooperation between the two countries. The talks covered development projects, education, trade, investment, and tourism.

Valkonen described Namibia as Finland’s most active parliamentary partner in Africa, highlighting strong interest from Finnish businesses and institutions in engaging with Namibian sectors. Both sides emphasized the importance of parliamentary collaboration as a foundation for broader bilateral relations.
