Do you live with major regrets in life? I’m sure we all think back to a time where “I should’ve done this!” or “I should’ve done that!”

To regret is to be human…

But allow me to put your regret woes to bed, because my goodness… in comparison, your regrets don’t come close to the regret Lily Allen has! And yes, she has openly said she regrets this!!!

Q&A | Lily Allen | The Guardian

The year is 2009. Lily Allen gets offered the chance to perform a concert on the online virtual world platform, Second Life.

Kind of like a Fortnite concert, before Fortnite concerts existed.

She declined. Now they don’t say why, but one can almost assume it’s because they weren’t going to pay her with money in the traditional sense…

They were gonna pay her with something that at the time, had zero value… Bitcoin!

In 2009, Bitcoin’s value was 0.00, so when they offered her 200 000 bitcoin, it was like offering her 200 000 nothing…

But NOW!?

Lily Allen says she regrets the decision… because 200 000 bitcoin today, is:

  • N$ 30 382 903 160.00

Suddenly all your worldly regrets seem like NOTHING in comparison! The chance to be a billionaire gone by a simple “No thank you…”

But hey, how was she to know!?

Yeesh… anyone wanna offer me bitcoin to play a concert? Honestly, I’ll settle for like 1 or 2 bitcoin only!
