Activist Lamek Shinoveni has called on top Namibian police and prosecution authorities to take urgent action over alleged misconduct in the NAMDIA heist investigations. While welcoming the removal of Commissioner Berry De Klerk from the Police Reserve Unit, Shinoveni says full accountability requires his complete removal and a thorough review of police and prosecutorial actions. He alleged that innocent people remain in custody while real perpetrators are free, that witness statements were altered, and officers who refused to comply with improper orders were intimidated. Shinoveni urged transparency, justice for the wrongfully held, and national mobilisation through peaceful demonstrations to restore public trust in law enforcement.
