The Namibia Sports Commission has introduced the Hex-Tech Software Development System to address the lack of publicly accessible sports data.

Speaking at the launch, Sports Commission Chief Administrator Freddy Mwiya explained that all 52 sporting codes in the country will be required to register on the system.

“Following the registration of sporting codes, federations will need to upload their event calendars to ensure the public is informed about upcoming events,” said Mwiya.

He added that sporting facilities will also have to register on the platform to enhance information accessibility for the public.
