Backstreet’s Back!!! Sort of…

Firstly… American Idol is still a thing!?

Raise your hand if you stopped watching once the O.G, Kelly Clarkson was crowned as the winner… Just me?

On a recent episode of American Idol, the judges were curious about a hopeful singer, Baylee’s surname. After all “Littrell” is not your average every day surname!

Baylee made the revelation that his his dad is Brian Littrell, of the Backstreet Boys!

While the judges did talk to Baylee about his dad and his career,  and Baylee crediting his dad “I believe I get my voice from Dad, and hopefully I can do him justice today,” I don’t want to take away from what Baylee actually did, which was perform a great song!!!

And, an original no less! Titled “Waiting on Myself To Die,” Baylee did a fantastic job! 

But… if your dad is a famous singer and he’s waiting outside… why not bring him in!!! 

Brian had nothing but kind words for his son: “Obviously, growing up in the industry, a lot of people look at that as such a perk. But it’s not easy. I’ve always told everybody that he’s 10 times more talented than I ever was.” 

And then… a father and son duet was in order! 

You can clearly see the boy band chops are still there with Brian doing a fantastic job backing his son on his song! 

Nepo Baby? I don’t know… dad may be famous, but Baylee is doing great!
