Ariana Grande reimagines Monica and Brandy’s 90’s Hit ‘The Boy Is Mine’

One of the songs on Ariana Grande’s new album, ‘Eternal Sunshine’, is inspired by a famous song from the 90s.

It’s The Boy is Mine from Singers Brandy and Monica released back  in 1998. Back in 1998 the song became one of the year’s biggest songs and won a Grammy for ‘Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group’.

While Brandy and Monica’s version is about fighting over a cheating boyfriend – whom they both later dump, Ariana embraces her inner bad girl.
