I started my radio career in Namibia in 1999, and in 2000 I joined the Radiowave team. All I can say about the 5 years I spent with Radiowave is: “Man, what an adventure with the weirdest people on earth, and I loved every moment”.
Backtracking a bit (waaaaay back)...When I was a child, my parents used to pay me not to talk...now I get paid to talk. Kismet!
In 2005 I moved to Cape Town where I continued doing radio. In 2012 I won the national MTN award for best newsreader at a community station and was nominated as a finalist in the same category in 2013. That I would attribute to the lady who was responsible for the news on Radiowave when I was still a newbie, she trained me well.
11 years later my roots called me home, and to me home includes Radiowave. Let the adventure continue...
