Join Radiowave at the the FNB Rock 'n Run in Windhoek on 24 February 2018, and let's twist again like we did last summer!  Take part in the 5km or 10km fun run, with entertainment all along the routes by local artists and fun activities at each water point.  At the finish line, enjoy the fresh flavour of international artists, pop in at the beer garden, and let the kids run amok at the supervised kids' corner!

Radiowave gets a tour at Namibia Breweries

The Radiowave team were treated to a Namibian Breweries tour on Wednesday the 27th of April. Ably guided by Supply Chain Manager Hans Hermann, we were astonished to see not only the degree of complexity of the plant and brewing process, but also the degree to which technology guides the whole process. After an interesting but thirst-inducing tour, we were treated to a beer tasting and a pairing of the various NBL brands with a variety of foods, presented by German beer sommelier Dorothea Wächtler. The food was great, as was the beer. We were hosted by NBL Managing Director Wessie van der Westhuizen and members of his management team, and we all ended the evening thoroughly impressed not only by the various brands of NBL, but also the management of the company and the exciting developments in the pipeline. Thanks to Wessie and the entire team that hosted us...we all had a great time and we are proud of a great Namibian company!

George Clooney, Oprah and Spielberg donate $500,000 each to Washington march against gun violence

George and Amal Clooney, Oprah, Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg are all speaking out on gun violence by donating to the March for Our Lives movement.

Clooney and his family first announced they would be on hand next month in Washington, D.C., standing "side by side with this incredible generation of young people from all over the country" in hopes of prioritizing safety in schools and combating gun violence.
