Radiowave gets a tour at Namibia Breweries

The Radiowave team were treated to a Namibian Breweries tour on Wednesday the 27th of April. Ably guided by Supply Chain Manager Hans Hermann, we were astonished to see not only the degree of complexity of the plant and brewing process, but also the degree to which technology guides the whole process. After an interesting but thirst-inducing tour, we were treated to a beer tasting and a pairing of the various NBL brands with a variety of foods, presented by German beer sommelier Dorothea Wächtler. The food was great, as was the beer. We were hosted by NBL Managing Director Wessie van der Westhuizen and members of his management team, and we all ended the evening thoroughly impressed not only by the various brands of NBL, but also the management of the company and the exciting developments in the pipeline. Thanks to Wessie and the entire team that hosted us...we all had a great time and we are proud of a great Namibian company!

On the Charts: U2 Claim Eighth Number One LP With 'Songs of Experience'

Band's 14th studio album scores best-selling week for any rock album in 2017.

U2 notched their eighth Number One album as the band's Songs of Experience debuted atop the Billboard 200.

Bono and company's 14th studio album and follow-up to 2014's Songs of Innocence sold 186,000 total copies in its first week of release, the best sales for a rock release since Metallica's Hardwired… to Self-Destruct back in December 2016, Billboard reports.

Welcome to awards season: Monday morning, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced their nominees for this year’s 75th annual Golden Globe Awards, an event that annually honors the best in television and film.

Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water led the pack with seven nods total, while The Post — which arrives in theaters Dec. 22 — and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri tied for second with six nominations.

Shishani wins "Best World Music Album Produced in Netherlands 2017"

Namibian Tales, an acoustic quartet, was founded by vocalist Shishani and percussionist Sjahin During in Amsterdam, in 2015. In 2016, the group received the Best World Music Production award for their debut album 'Itaala' in the Netherlands. Shishani and Namibian Tales have been praised for crafting a distinct sound with their unusual instrumentation, blending Namibian inspired elements with diverse sonic influences.
