Jarret Loubser

Right, I've been asked about my nicknames many times before and here they are in no particular order: Lopey, Soutie and Bles..Some girls call me "Big Pimp Daddy" but thats only on the weekends between 1:32am and 4:46am... Dont ask!!

Deon van Rensburg

A (very!) long time ago in a galaxy far far away…as you can tell, I’m a Star Wars fan…anyway, I’m a native of the coolest Town (Cape Town), but spent most of my school career in Windhoek…then became a professional surf/scuba bum (other people call it studying) for 5 years.

Sunet van Wyk

So this is the part where I should tell you more about myself?
Uhm…okay I never know where to start with these things yet it seems to be the one question people ask you most of the time.

Okay Hi, I’m Sunet but my friends call me Sunni.

Karlien Kruger

I started my radio career in Namibia in 1999, and in 2000 I joined the Radiowave team.  All I can say about the 5 years I spent with Radiowave is:  “Man, what an adventure with the weirdest people on earth, and I loved every moment”.

Backtracking a bit (waaaaay back)...When I was a child, my parents used to pay me not to talk...now I get paid to talk.  Kismet!

Chops Tshoopara

Well, my name is Chops and I love being in my 30’s. My dream is to transform attitudes and thinking through my passions. My background is not like a lot of other Namibians – yes, my parents were hardworking, they tried to give me the best education and opportunities but I have always believed in doing things myself and my own way!

Anne Mans

What can I say about myself?

I am happy to say that I have entered the next (very exciting) chapter of my life. MARRIED LIFE…

David Bishop

I was born in Oranjemund but grew up in Windhoek, I am super proudly Namibian and often joke that I was born in this country and I dam well intend to die in this country ... just not any time soon. Having been with Radiowave for a long time now, I've been a DJ for many years, dabbled in Marketing for a few, and am currently sniffing out news stories.

Kelly Thompson

Growing up in KwaZulu Natal (aka KZN) Midlands (plaas kind) and Durban,  I loved listening to radio. Two of my biggest influences in radio were Kevin Savage (he used to be with Capital 604) and Daryl Ilbury who was with Radio Port Natal now known as East Coast Radio…somehow this seems to show my age.

Christine Venter

I have had the pleasure of working for Radiowave since 2008. I started out reading news on the Waking Crew, and within the first three months I had my most embarrassing live on-air moment ever: Mispronouncing the airline name, Qantas Airways. Say it a few times and you should soon find out how I said it and why it was so embarrassing.

Jacques de Vries

Hello there, my name is Jacques.
At Radiowave not only do I do the production for the Waking Crew but I’m also a sound engineer. I have various other jobs around the station: tax evasion, gun runner, shop lifting expert…

Johan Jooste

Who am I?

I’m the music loving, lettuce hating, ear wiggling sound guy. With Deadmau5, Benny Benassi, Tiesto, Avicci, Fedde Le Grand, Afrojack and Nervo on repeat, I use my spare time to make electronic music. For now only for myself, but soon for the world... You’ll see.

L.A Sambroso-Wasserfall

I love being in awkward situations but hate being awkward in a ‘situation.’ I consider my special talents to be bridge building, metaphorically speaking that is; bridging the gaps between people or things.
