Stuart Reece - Away Away
Away Away is the 4th single released off of the Broke Down Beat Down EP and the follow up to My Sweet Lady. The song tells a positive story of believing in something bigger than yourself and pursuing your dreams no matter what circumstances you face.
Josh Wantie - Fall Again
Durban-born Josh Wantie [pronounced Von-Tee] signed to top independent label Gallo Record Company late last year and soon after released his debut single ‘Go Under’ which peaked at #6 on the 5FM Top 40 and has been streamed over 77,000 times across various online platforms. Most recently ‘Go Under’ was used in an online KIA ad campaign with World Champ skater, James Kelly. The video clip has received an overwhelming response with over 10.8 Million views in just 2 weeks!
Wantie released his 2nd single ‘Fall Again’ the same day as the pre-order on iTunes for his debut EP ‘Paper Crown’ went live and he’s been waiting eagerly for this day to arrive.
“It’s been a long journey with lots of ups and downs, but we've worked hard and I'm really happy with what we have put together. I've tried to write songs that I would really enjoy listening to myself so I hope people do as well. I've been grateful for all the hard work the team behind me has put into this EP, from musicians and producers, engineers and my label and PR team. I'm finally saying, here world, this is me, Josh Wantie"
Sophie Ellis Bextor - Come with us
The pop star basically made the year 2001 on her own with the iconic single ‘Murder on the Dacefloor’ and the just as brilliant follow up ‘Get Over You’. Although the British pop star mostly disappeared from the international charts after this, her albums and singles continue to achieve at least some success in her home country. Album number six is called Familia and will be out in September. ‘Come With Us’ is the first single and it marks Sophie’s glorious return to disco infused uptempo pop.
To be completely honest, on first listen ‘Come With Us’ might just pass you by like a pleasant, but forgettable background tune. The trick is to give it one or two more plays in order for the track to start unfolding its beauty and hooks.
John Mayer - Love on the weekend
"Love on the Weekend" gives fans a hint at what's next in the Mayersphere, which is reminiscent of his Room for Squares days but adds a touch of the bluesy instrumentals he incorporated on 2012's Born and Raised and 2013's Paradise Valley.
Amid the new music reveal, Mayer also told fans he will be touring starting in the spring, shortly after the album's release. There's no word on a specific release date for The Search for Everything ("very soon, I promise," he vaguely hinted), but it sounds like 2017 could be the year of John Mayer.
