OneRepublic - Kids
"Kids" is a song recorded by American pop rock band OneRepublic as the second single off their upcoming fourth studio album scheduled to be released early this fall. The single's title and artwork were officially announced on the band's Twitter account on August 3, 2016.
OneRepublic has released "Kids," an anthemic, sprawling second single from their upcoming, as-yet-untitled fourth album. The new album will be the band's first since 2013's Native.
Despite its Eighties-inspired sound, the song fights against nostalgia. "I refuse to look back thinking days were better/ Just because they're younger days," Ryan Tedder sings on the track's chorus. Throughout the song, Tedder compares how good things are now to what they were like back then when they were more carefree.
RO - Fall
“As artists, we’re focused and always working towards perfecting our craft. Good enough isn’t enough. Every song we’ve written has a secret meaning that only we know. You have to decide for yourself, because music is personal.” ~ RO
You can’t ignore RO’s ‘cooler than you’ bromance, which brings a laid-back vibe to any room. They’re your comb-over, V-neck, shades-indoors and skinny-jeans-with-boots type of dudes. They’re so genuine, it makes you feel you’ve known them for a lifetime.
