20 February: Simon Ghraichy @ the FNCC

The FNCC is organizing the visit of internationally-acclaimed French pianist Simon Ghraichy in Windhoek on 20 February

Don't miss internationally-acclaimed French Pianist Simon Ghraichy as he performs for the first time in Namibia on Tuesday 20 February 2018 at 20h00 as part of his African tour which will also take him to Angola and Kenya.

A French pianist with Mexican and Lebanese background, Simon Ghraichy is renowned for his unique personal style defined with rich, diverse cultural influences. He is appreciated by peers for his irreproachable virtuosity and remarkable artistic taste, as well as by less experienced listeners for his uninhibited personality and charisma.

Prestigious venues such as the Berliner Philharmoniker, Theatre des Champs-Elysees in Paris and the Carnegie Hall in New York have witnessed a dramatic drop in their audiences’ average age when Ghraichy’s concerts were staged. He has performed as a soloist with orchestras, and in chamber music and solo recitals in music halls over five continents.

Ghraichy’s public performance in Windhoek will take place on Tuesday 20th February at the National Theatre of Namibia. As the FNCC values the sharing of knowledge and know-how and the enrichment of the arts through cultural exchanges, the pianist will also be giving a masterclass to Namibian pianists.

RMB will sponsor the Windhoek performance of the acclaimed French pianist as well as the masterclass piano session he is hosting.

Listen to a few of his tunes here.

The concert is organized by FNCC, sponsored by RMB, and will take place at the National Theatre of Namibia.

Tickets are on sale at FNCC, NTN, Checkers, Shoprite, and through Computicket.
